During the opening week of Irgendwo in Bremen from 9 to 11 May, the venue became a lively meeting place for art, culture and encounters. A special moment was the performance by Cirque on Edge, which also marked a return to familiar territory for the Bremen circus collective. As a local project, it was important for the ensemble to re-establish itself in the Bremen cultural scene and be part of this cultural space.
The collaboration with Irgendwo – a place where art and culture should be accessible to everyone and creative processes are consciously promoted – was an obvious and harmonious connection. Implemented by Kulturbeutel e.V., Irgendwo stands for open structures, communal experiences and experimental formats. Thus, the weekend not only marked the launch of the cultural venue, but also sent a strong signal for local cooperation and artistic networking in Bremen.
