„Cirque on edge in Dinskaken: Beeindruckende Show am Ententeich„
On 25 July 2025, Cirque on Edge transformed the duck pond in Dinslaken into a poetic stage as part of the Abfahrt Eins street theatre festival. From 8 p.m. onwards, rope and partner acrobatics, theatre and music merged into an atmospheric production that captivated the audience.
Even during the day, the construction work at the duck pond attracted curious glances and astonished faces. As Cirque on Edge erected the wooden bridge piece by piece, passers-by stopped, struck up conversations and watched with interest as the extraordinary structure took shape. Thus, even during the day, there was an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation hanging over the duck pond.
This made it all the more impressive for the audience to see how the bridge actually worked over the water and became part of the production. The construction aroused not only artistic but also technical enthusiasm – a former engineer took the opportunity to inspect the bridge and showed great interest in the well-thought-out wooden construction.
