Zirkus Theater Festival Dresden

At the Circus Theatre Festival on 28 June 2025 in Dresden, concept met context: under the festival motto ‘Bridges’, the performance ‘A Way’ by Cirque on Edge fitted into the programme in a special way. At the Goldener Reiter venue, the construction of the wooden bridge not only created a central image for the production, but also a powerful symbol of connection, encounter and shared experience.

With up to 2,500 spectators, the performance was a real highlight of the festival for many Dresden residents. The intense atmosphere, the open urban space and the large, enthusiastic audience made the evening an unforgettable experience for the company. Beyond the performance, the festival provided space for exchange and networking: in conversations with other artists and organisers, new connections were made, ideas were shared, and the evening was celebrated together at a lively after-show party. It was a festival moment that had an impact far beyond the stage.
