On 6 and 7 September 2025, Cirque on Edge was a guest at the Monheimer Kulturwerke in the Kulturaffinerie K714 – a special milestone for the company. Amidst a diverse programme of acrobatics, other spectacular acts and live music, including Maite Kelly, the audience was thrilled twice: with an evening show at 10:15 p.m. and another performance the following day.
For Cirque on Edge, the performance at the Kulturaffinerie was an exciting step into new territory. It was the first time the company had performed indoors and was able to present its work in a closed ‘theatre setting’. The new environment opened up exciting artistic possibilities and proved to be a complete success – both for the artists and the audience. The energetic atmosphere, the curious audience and the varied festival programme made the visit to Monheim an all-round successful event and an important impetus for future theatre productions by Cirque on Edge.
